Power Girls

Do not miss to be back to check it out.

Those days are gone forever, oder war es "for good", oder doch "my friend"?

We'd sing and dance, for ever and a day, we'd live the life we'd chose, we'd fight and never lose, those were ......

But it is transporting.

What the NYT wrote more than a year ago. People often ask her, Ms. Rice said that day, whether playing chamber music is relaxing. "It's not exactly relaxing if you are struggling to play Brahms," she explained. "But it is transporting. When you're playing there is only room for Brahms or Shostakovich. It's the time I'm most away from myself, and I treasure it."

My god. Not relaxing but transporting away from yourself with music! And a stupid asshole like me always thought is was the other way round.

Wo man singt, da lass Dich nieder, böse Menschen kennen keine Lieder, jawoll.

This is how the Whitehouse puts it.

Uschi spricht

FS Ursula Plassnik on Muslim Integration in Europe - Brightcove.

The 'Salzburg Global Seminar' and the 'New York University' do a conference on "Muslim Youth and Women in the West: Source of Concern or Source of Hope?"

Quote: The only way to do this is to take things into our hands. Is she not wonderful?

Women Leaders Have It Not Light With The Mens

Plassnik, Rupel, Muzic

New Year New Topic

Da englisch langwhich has those famos words for many dings. The usage of the designation of secretary in the political field is a concept I always liked and found hilarious (as in hilarious speed). The German language now uses that designation only as a pejorative term for an assistant or an office manager or in conjunction with the military title of general and then mainly for parties and institutions. But my personal usage darling of the term might well be the title of Foreign Secretary, which brings me to a question:

Q:What do Israel, the US and our little Balkanese Federal Republic of Austria have in common?

A:Not only do they have boring Presidents, those Presidents also have smashing Female Foreign Secretaries. So in honour of this historical constellation, the new year on tinytalk start with a new political series:

Smashing Foreign Secretaries and their Secret Lives and Loves

Let us now start slowly with 2 officially approved images and no dirty laundry.

#1: 2 Presidents, their Foreign Secretaries and a queen, arch duchess and emperor consort, I guess.

2 Presidents and their Foreign Secretaries

#2: These 2 Smashing Foreign Secretaries will now fight it out with the oriental machos to make peace for what we on the continent call the near and for what ever reason the anglophones call the middle east. (Could it be that they think of the frenchies and germans as the near east?)

Condi and Tzipi

And please: Nobody should blame me 4 having the beautiful Condoleeza twice and reproach me with injustice. This is only politically correct and conceived to compensate for the - make no mistake - still existing disadvantages of having raven hair instead of blonde and being of coloured face.
